September 15, 2012Having just spent a fair amount of time in France and Italy this summer, it’s refreshing to see how well people adapt to small spaces and create well-balanced living quarters. A European family of three can live comfortably in about 1200-1400 square feet on average. Larger spaces do exist, but they are definitely not the norm. It was refreshing to see that they prioritize location over space.
