Exciting New Boston Luxury Real Estate Downtown
October 5, 2013Gone are the days where downtown Boston was the only place for thriving retail centers. Residents used to work in Downtown office towers and afterwards jump on the “T” to commute home. Not anymore! With several fabulous luxury residential towers built in the area, the dynamics are changing rapidly.
Boston Luxury Homes are Available Throughout Town
The newest and most recent developments include ArchStone and Kensington towers. Both buildings provide Boston luxury home apartments. Millennium Place, a luxury residential condominium complex built by the Millennium Partners, is also responsible for creating a more residential neighborhood that did not exist a few years ago. Millennium Place is close to 85% sold out and condo sales are still going strong.
The newest development just broke ground last week at the old Filene’s department store site. Millennium Partners is developing the 625-foot tower that will be among the tallest Boston luxury real estate towers built in the city. It will house 425 high end homes, featuring different sizes and unique layouts. The top floors will have unobstructed, spectacular 360 degree views of the city, the Harbor, and the Back Bay/Beacon Hill and Charles River. The tower will also have commercial and retail components – lush amenities for residents.
The idea is to make downtown an area where you can live, work and shop without getting into your car. Ten years ago, real estate agents couldn’t pay people to live downtown. Now, the demand is staggering for Downtown living. Boston luxury real estate is changing rapidly, along with the notion of traditional neighborhoods.
